An evil coming from a lawless land We scream aloud against the midnight rain To break the ties of this eternal pain! [Verse 3] I sprint along the narrow labyrinth floor And try to lock the heavy iron door But spirits glide through solid walls of stone To leave me shaiking in the dark alone [Verse 4] The crooked claws are reaching for my neck My living body turning to a wreck Its eyes of fire burn into my mind The ultimate destruction I will find [Pre-Chorus] I hear the screaming of a thousand souls The heavy bells begin to strike the tolls The specter gains on every step I take A horrid castle that I can’t forsake [Chorus] Run through the dark, escape the phantoms hand! An evil coming from a lawless land We scream aloud against the midnight rain To break the ties of this eternal pain! [Verse 5] I glare directly at the ghostly fright And raise my hands to face the fading night I will not bow, I will not drop my head Before the ruler of the wicked dead [Verse 6] The morning sun delivers perfect peace The haunted crypt has found its full release The fantom shatters in a flash of gold The grieving story is forever told [Pre-Chorus] I hear the screaming of a thousand souls The heavy bells begin to strike the tolls The specter gains on every step I take A horrid castle that I can’t forsake [Chorus] Run through the dark, escape the phantoms hand! An evil coming from a lawless land We scream aloud against the midnight rain To break the ties of this eternal pain! #Mercyfell #GothicMusic #DarkAmbient #DarkFantasy #EpicMusic #Powermetal #Heavymetal
