Delivered. No reply. Your mind fills in the silence.
Room for Both explores attachment anxiety through Maya and Sam’s fictional story. Before another message, ask: what is happening inside me, what is happening between us, and what next action expresses my need while respecting both people’s choices?
Follow the example through a pause, fact versus story, one clear request, mutual agreements and follow-through. The guide also makes room for real broken promises, privacy, a request for no contact and the choice to leave. Reassurance is not inherently unhealthy, and there is no universal reply deadline.
Educational content for adults, not therapy or diagnosis. The characters and sample scripts are illustrations, not tested formulas. Attachment patterns can change; feeling understood is associated with security, not a guaranteed cure. If worry repeatedly disrupts daily life, a licensed therapist can help you explore support. Joint work requires safety and willingness from both people.
