Oops...I left the seed box out.

A busy birdie morning with lots of chatty Lorikeets in the trees around Birdsville. Lots of seed popping, happy trills, cooing and some good old dust-ups. Lots of fly-ins and fly-outs. We start with 1 Corella. 1:07 a Spotted Dove flies in. 7:36 Old Mate Corella notices what's in the goodie box, but gets no joy. 9:33 Old Mate jumps on top, gives up, jumps down, starts grazing but can't stop thinking about it. Jumps up and down a few times, then goes to work on it. 12:02 Cracks the lid. 13:16 A false alarm fly-off. 14:56 First Rainbow Lorikeet flys in. 15:20 Old Mate has a second go at the goodie box. 16:50 A new contender flies in. 17:07 Check out how the Corella in the foreground slowly eats and gently holds a corn kernel. 18:08 Word has got out to the Lorikeets who turn up en masse. 19:42 The first Galah files in. 20:11 Corella gets his head inside the container, then his mate hops up to help wrestle with the lid. 20:44 Over she goes! Scattering some Lorikeets in the process. 21:35 Crested Pigeon arrives on scene. 22:35 Old Mate, who's had his head in the box, starts feeling bit hemmed in, and goes bully on the Lorikeets. 26:08 Success! The lid is off and now it's time to attack the little blue rubber seals - who cares about food, he's on a mission to kill the 'blue thing'.
