Hakkaisan, spending a night at the Senbonhinoki Hut campsite beneath a star-filled sky, followed by a breathtaking sunrise. The next day, I take on Yatsumine — a rugged chain of rocky peaks with exposed ridges and challenging chain sections. The rounded rocks can be slippery, demanding careful footing and constant focus. After tackling the long chain descents of Mt. Dainichidake, I finally conquer Yatsumine, surrounded by the beautiful colors of autumn. From camping beneath the stars to crossing a demanding alpine ridge, experience the wild beauty and challenge of Mt.
