Vintage 1975 Hoover U6033 Powerdrive Upright Vacuum Cleaner - First Look

Another gap in the collection has been filled with this incredibly rare (In the UK) Hoover Powerdrive or Dial a Matic as it’s known in the Sates. Very heavy and not a popular cleaner in the UK probably due to its price and weight. Since filming this video, I retrobrighted the main body, front and back panels and it looks so much better. I still need to give it a proper service, but I need to recover from taking it apart as it’s an absolute nightmare to work on.
