I Left My Comfort Zone and It Changed My Life

Two years ago, I quit my job, packed my bags, and left Lagos to start over in Ibadan. At the time, I had what many people would consider a comfortable life. A stable job, a steady income, and a roof over my head. But somewhere along the line, I realised I had become comfortable in my discomfort. Leaving wasn't an easy decision. It took me almost a year to finally take that step, mostly because I was terrified of what might happen next. Two years later, a lot has changed. In this personal documentary, I reflect on that decision, the fear of starting over, the realities of stepping into the unknown, and how leaving everything familiar changed my perspective on life. I also share the story of a friend who left the same workplace around the same time. We took different paths, but our experiences have more in common than you might think. This isn't a motivational speech about quitting your job or moving to another city. It's simply a story about change, uncertainty, growth, and finding the courage to pursue something more.
