From there, we take a short drive to Lendava, near the Hungarian border to catch up with family and enjoy a traditional Slovenian afternoon tea filled with local flavours and warm hospitality. Back in Moravske Toplice, we return to Pizzerija Perunika for a delicious dinner—before receiving some tragic news that sadly means packing our bags and making an unexpected journey back home to Melbourne, Australia.
