The full Sonata K34 in E-major by Carlos Seixas with sheet music Carlos Seixas was a well-established Portuguese composer of the 18th century. In 1720, at age 16, he moved to Lisbon, where he met and worked with Domenico Scarlatti. Unfortunately, most of his works were lost forever due to the earthquake that destroyed Lisbon in 1755. Today, I bring to you a quite charming keyboard sonata in E-major. This sonata is composed of two movements: a joyful "Allegro" with fast arpeggios, virtuosic jumps, and a simpler, lighthearted "Minuet".
