I’m starting a new project to help identify the music in long-form Seeburg 1000 videos that have been uploaded to YouTube and cataloged in my Seeburg 1000 database. *Original video:* Seeburg 1000 Industrial 10 (1959) *Uploader:* Raptor’s Videos I’ve tried using my phone to identify the tracks automatically, but some remain mysteries. I’m sharing them with the Seeburg 1000 community in hopes that listeners will recognize a tune and identify its title. Knowing the artist or performer is a welcome bonus—those credits can be especially elusive for these releases. The timestamps and side/track numbers below should make it easier to match an identification to the right place in the recording. That will help me update the corresponding spreadsheet entry accurately and quickly. “Unknown” means I haven’t identified the track yet. Composer credits are labeled as composers; other artist credits are included where known. Corrections are welcome! *Track list and start times* 0:01 — A1: Heart of My Heart 1:55 — A2: Mine 4:15 — A3: Count Your Blessings — Irving Berlin (composer) 5:55 — A4: My Sugar Is So Refined — possible Rocky Rockwell vocal? Collectors and enthusiasts help preserve these recordings by transferring them and identifying the music in each library. This project is largely a labor of love, made possible in part by a few generous supporters. I’m doing this to help document the music and support the Seeburg 1000 enthusiast community, not to claim someone else’s upload as my own. The original video and uploader are credited above. Browse the database here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/... If you recognize a tune, please leave its title and timestamp in the comments. Artist or performer identifications are welcome too. Thanks for helping make the Seeburg 1000 database more complete!
