MORNING DEVOTION - SURRENDER IS WORSHIP BEFORE IT IS LOSS

If you ask most people what "worship" is, they’ll describe a room with a band, and everyone singing with hands raised up. We all love a good song. But if our worship stops when the music fades out, we’re missing the point. Worship isn't a slow song; it’s a choice. It’s what happens when God asks you for something you really, really want to keep, and you decide to trust Him with it anyway. We usually think of "surrender" as losing—like a soldier throwing up a white flag because they’re beaten. But in God’s world, surrender is how you actually win. It’s telling God, “I trust Your hands more than I trust my own.”
