Shep completely agrees with the fans who have lost faith in Square Enix's attempt to redo Cloud, Aerith and Sephiroth's magnum Opus...because this ISN'T FF7 anymore. It's a weird meta sequel, and whisper interactions hit players over the head by the second half, telling us how DIFFERENT destiny is going to play out...which is something almost NO ONE wanted.
