Apple II Power Supply Repair So your PSU stopped working. It's not "Dead", it's just in need of some very inexpensive TLC. In this case I had two systems with PSUs that were having very similar symptoms (neither one wanted to start up). This symptom generally indicates there's an issue in the feedback section of the PSU. Typically that issue is going to be a very inexpensive capacitor. Don't spend gobs of money for an aftermarket PSU conversion when a cheap component is all you need.
