Paul singing live in his prime, his most requested song. It takes us all home.Released in 1998, members of the group at that time were Joe Ligon,Ron Staples,Wilbert Williams, Michael McCowin and Paul Beasley formerly of The Gospel Keynotes. This is a premier performance, par de excellence. The Clouds surround Paul with a wall of sound and a hounddog of a bass that drags the bottom in perfect pitch.Beasley serves notice that no one can hold a note as long as he can and that the falsetto voice that he possesses is worthy of honorable mention. Honorable mention , that is behind The Most Honorable "Claude Jeter"( bless his name) unmatched father of the falsetto. I do believe after this performance that Beasley would be in the final three selected to carry the handerchief and microphone for The Most Honorable Claude Jeter (bless his name). It is said that thur the grapevine that The Mighty Clouds on many occassions were prevented from singing this song live at concert venues. Promoters that didn't have enough security would have a, if you will a gentlemans agreement with this group not to close their performance with this song. This song was a house wrecker and audience response would from time to time shake the floor and rattle the windows. Not a soul that paid to see The Clouds live ever said that that money wasn't well spent after Beasley closed the program with this song.
