"Armando's Rhumba" is a classic piece by Chick Corea - I remember seeing him play it live with Gary Burton in a duo concert in 1997. That's also the year they released 'Native Sense', the album from which this solo was transcribed. In this video, I play Gary Burton's vibraphone solo and a loose approximation of Chick Corea's accompaniment part. I will be releasing a video soon where I will explain the things that I learned while transcribing this, as well as a slowed-down performance of the solo so that you can hear all of the lines and try to learn them yourself!
