Team VERTU's Tom Ingram claimed a thrilling victory after an intense race-long battle with polesitter Aiden Moffat in the opening contest of the season finale.
The pair went wheel-to-wheel throughout the race, trading positions on several occasions as Moffat looked to continue his impressive run of form following his victory and podium finish at Silverstone.
However, Ingram was determined to come out on top, producing a spectacular move around the outside of Moffat on the run down to Paddock Hill Bend to take the lead and secure another victory for Team VERTU.
Moffat fought hard to reclaim the position but was ultimately unable to overcome the two-time champion. To make matters worse, the Scotsman received a five-second penalty for track limit infringements, dropping him off the podium despite securing the Independents' honours.
Behind Ingram, Josh Cook claimed second place for Speedworks Corolla Racing, while Ricky Collard completed the podium to round off a strong race for Team VERTU.
Newly crowned five-time BTCC champion Ash Sutton finished fifth for NAPA Racing UK, sporting the celebratory #5 on his car following the announcement of a new five-year contract extension with the championship.
Mikey Doble moved another step closer to securing the Independent Drivers' title with a sixth-place finish for LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing, holding off a determined challenge from WSR's Daryl De Leon.
Dan Cammish, Adam Morgan and Jack Sears Trophy Champion Dexter Patterson completed the top ten.
