A Vibrant, Colorful Wedding at the Commodore Perry Estate in Austin, Texas

A little over a year after their romantic at-home engagement, Meredith and Eshaan tied the knot at the colorful Texas wedding of their dreams. The first decision the pair made was hiring wedding planner Kate Goddard of Wild Sky Events to bring their “India meets Italy meets Austin” wedding vision to life. The Texas-based couple knew they wanted to wed close to home, so they focused their search on Austin wedding venues. Meredith and Eshaan fell in love with the Commodore Perry Estate because of its Italy-meets-Austin feel, massive oak trees, and classic architecture. With a venue locked in, florist Botanical No. 9 was brought on to create a vibrant, colorful wedding experience. Tropical greenery, citrus-hued florals, and Indian-inspired marigolds were the defining elements of the wedding design. Bride Meredith walked down the aisle in a stunning yellow lehenga with a vibrant lily of the valley bridal bouquet. After the reception, guests migrated to a lively tent wedding reception where they enjoyed a live DJ set and danced the night away.
