The Price of Dishonor

Exodus 20:12 commands us to honor our fathers and mothers so that our days may be long In 1 Samuel 13 and 15, King Saul refused to wait for the prophet Samuel and rushed to offer a sacrifice himself. By disregarding God's prophet and instructions, Saul proved he did not honor God's order. As a result, God rejected him as king. In Genesis 9:20-27, Ham exposed and mocked his father Noah's weakness. His act of dishonor brought a long-lasting generational curse upon his descendants. In Mark 6:1-6, the people of Jesus' hometown dismissed Him as just "the carpenter's son." Because of their familiarity and dishonor, the Bible says Jesus Could do no mighty works there. Their disrespect blocked their own healing What is this thing called dishonor?
