Peacherine Rag, by Scott Joplin, 1901; arranged by Russell Foster and tweaked by The Ragtime Skedaddlers. One of Joplin's earliest and prettiest rags, rarely recorded on mandolin and guitar. Six Joplin rags (including one collaboration with Scott Hayden) are known to have been published for mandolins and guitar during Joplin's lifetime, but three have yet to be found. Two of the remaining three can be found on our previous recording (Rag Time Skedaddlers, Mandophone CD0901).
