EVERYTHING You Need to Know Before You Go to Thailand | Bangkok & Pattaya Trip 2026

We spent 4 days exploring Bangkok and 2 days in Pattaya, followed by travel back to Bangkok on the last day for the flight home. Our Thailand trip starts in Bangkok, where we explore some of the most famous places in the city. On Day 1, we visit the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun. We also explore Chinatown and spend some time at the famous Khao San Road. This day is perfect for experiencing Bangkok’s temples, local streets, markets and nightlife. On Day 2, we take a day trip to Ayutthaya, the historic city known for its beautiful temples and ancient ruins. After returning to Bangkok, we visit Terminal 21 Mall for shopping and food. We visit the famous Train Station Market, also known as the Maeklong Railway Market, followed by a floating market and the beautiful Dragon Temple. In the evening, we head to ICONSIAM, one of Bangkok’s most popular shopping malls, where we enjoy the beautiful fountain and evening show. On Day 4, we visit King Power Mahanakhon Tower and enjoy the amazing views of Bangkok from one of the city’s most famous viewpoints. We also spend time shopping in Bangkok and exploring the city before leaving for Pattaya. On Day 5, we travel from Bangkok to Pattaya and check in to our stay. After some rest, we visit Wat Phra Yai, also known as the Big Buddha Temple, followed by Pattaya Viewpoint and Jomtien Beach. In the evening, we explore a local night market and experience a cabaret show. Day 6 is all about Pattaya. We take a Coral Island day tour and enjoy the beautiful beaches and activities around the island. Later, we visit the Sanctuary of Truth, one of Pattaya’s most unique attractions. In the evening, we explore Pattaya Night Bazaar and experience the famous Walking Street.
