Madurai Mani Iyer - Lalgudi Jayaraman - Pazhani Subramania Pillai - Manjunath (Music Academy, 1959)

A beautiful concert of Madurai Mani Iyer in 1959 with Lalgudi & Pazhani. Of course both MMI & LJ are scintillating but the big bonus is Pazhani's playing. What toppi sowkhyam with the deepest bass sound, & the outstanding, free-flowing & aesthetic Tani Avarthanam! It is difficult to believe such an extraordinary person ever walked the earth. Deiveekam!!! And a super clear recording of those days!
