Yet he never lost hope in Allah. He prayed sincerely and quietly for a righteous son. Allah answered with glad tidings of Yahya – a name never given before. Yahya was granted wisdom from childhood, was pure, compassionate, obedient to his parents, and never arrogant. Verses 16–33: Maryam withdrew from her people to worship. Angel Jibreel came in human form and gave her news of a pure son, Isa. She wondered how she could have a child without a husband, but it was Allah's decree. She gave birth alone and suffered greatly, even wishing for death from pain and fear. Allah comforted her with food and water and told her to remain silent. When her people accused her, baby Isa spoke from the cradle, declaring himself a servant of Allah and a prophet, defending his mother. Verses 34–40: Allah clarifies that Isa is only a servant and messenger – not divine. Allah rejects the claim that He has a son. All creation will return to Him for judgment. Those who worship others besides Allah will face great loss. Verses 41–50: Ibrahim gently called his father to worship Allah alone and warned him against idol worship. He asked why his father worshipped statues that could not hear or see. When his father rejected him, Ibrahim left his people for the sake of Allah. Allah rewarded him with righteous offspring and prophethood. Verses 51–58: Allah mentions Musa (Moses), Harun (Aaron), Ismail (Ishmael), and Idris (Enoch) – praising them for their truthfulness, patience, and obedience. All these prophets followed the same path of worshipping Allah alone and received His mercy and high honor. Verses 59–63: A generation came after them who neglected prayer and followed their desires. But those who repent, believe, and do good will enter Paradise – a promised reward from the Most Merciful for His servants who feared Him. Verses 64–72: The angels do not descend except by Allah's command. On Judgment Day, every soul must cross over Hell. The righteous will be saved, but the wrongdoers will fall into it – a fixed decree from Allah. This is a warning that no one can escape. Verses 73–82: When clear verses are recited, the disbelievers mock. They boast about their wealth and children, thinking it proves their status. But Allah warns them that their false gods will deny their worship on Judgment Day and actually turn against them as enemies. Verses 83–87: Allah sends devils to incite the disbelievers and push them further into sin. Do not rush their punishment – it will come precisely on time. On that Day, intercession will only benefit those who took a covenant with the Most Merciful. No one can intercede without Allah's permission. Verses 88–95: Some say Allah has taken a son – this is a terrible and monstrous claim. The heavens almost shatter from it. Everything in existence belongs to Allah, and every single creature in the heavens and earth will come to Him on Judgment Day as a humble servant. Verses 96–98: Allah places love and acceptance in the hearts of believers for those who do good. The Quran was made easy in your language to give glad tidings to the righteous and to warn the stubborn. Many generations before were destroyed – will you find even one of them remaining today?
