Living in a more modern part of Bangkok I sometimes miss other parts of the city. The Old Town is slowly becoming one of my favorite areas for chill walks, tasty food, a hint of history and a different rhythm of life. Even though, it's very popular with tourists there are a lot of places people don't often visit for some reason. But I love 🩷 Let's walk to find Bangkok’s Old Town charm away from the crowds. A grand but quiet temple all to ourselves, a 90-year heritage noodle shop, traditional Thai dessert, and some of the area’s most charming streets and shophouses All just a short walk from the Grand Palace, yet often missed. 🤓 PS: All research is limited to one person’s brain, so please correct me in the comments if anything’s off. 🥭 Subscribe for more videos about life in Bangkok, travel, lifestyle, and mindset 💌 00:00 Starting the Old Town journey 02:44 Gorgeous but empty temple 04:57 Cute books and gifts store 08:04 90-year-old Thai-Hainanese noodle shop! 13:22 classic Thai dessert: Bua Loy 15:08 Saranrom Palace 16:24 favorite sunset spot by the river #Bangkok #Thailand #SilentVlog #slowtravel
