The State of Spiritual Lostness • Complete Desolation: The bones are "very dry," meaning death has occurred long ago and any natural chance of recovery is gone. • Loss of Hope: Spiritually lost people often feel that their situation is permanent and that they are cut off from grace or redemption. • A Fragmented Existence: Just as the bones are scattered across the valley floor, a spiritually lost life lacks cohesion, purpose, and divine alignment. The Path to Restoration • The Divine Question: God asks Ezekiel, "Can these bones live?"—highlighting that human lostness is beyond human repair, but not beyond God's power. • The Power of the Word: Revival begins when God commands the prophet to speak His word into the deadness, showing that truth breaks through spiritual apathy. • The Breath of the Spirit: True life only returns when God’s breath (the Holy Spirit) enters the reconstructed frames, turning despair into a living spirit.
