In this video, I reverse engineer a real physical phone/tablet stand and recreate it as a complete 3D CAD model using SOLIDWORKS. I studied its geometry, measured the important dimensions, and then recreated the design step by step in SOLIDWORKS. In this project, you'll see: 🔹 Physical product inspection 🔹 Reverse engineering process 🔹 Measuring the real component 🔹 Creating the base geometry 🔹 Creating the angled support 🔹 Sheet metal-style bends 🔹 Creating the rear cutout 🔹 Creating the front support tabs 🔹 Adding fillets and edge details 🔹 Applying material and appearance 🔹 Comparing the physical product with the final CAD model This project demonstrates how a real-world mechanical product can be converted into a digital 3D CAD model using SOLIDWORKS. If you're interested in SOLIDWORKS, mechanical engineering, 3D CAD, reverse engineering, sheet metal design, fabrication and product modeling, make sure to subscribe to Universe_of_3d. 👍 Like the video if you found it useful. 💬 Comment below: What mechanical product should I reverse engineer next? #SolidWorks #ReverseEngineering #3DCAD #MechanicalEngineering #SheetMetal
