The Alucab Khaya

Boy, what a learning experience this was. There is a lot I would do differently If I were to do it again but that really is not the point. I could do this again and be much more polished, complete and worded better but that really is not real. Learning is part of the journey and I want to show that everyone starts from the beginning. If I stick with it I will get better and it will be fun to see how it all started. Maybe I can inspire someone else who feels intimidated by all of these experienced people and is afraid to try. My entire purpose for starting this channel other than by being asked to give it a shot is to challenge myself, share this challenge and inspire others to go do something that may seem overwhelming. Like swimming with sharks, this is something I never thought about doing but was told why not... It caught me since my ambition is to always push forward and when things happen, be your change. Take that chance no matter how uncomfortable or difficult. Here is that journey. This also will help me learn how to document my adventures, share my mis adventures as few trips are ever without their challenges and set backs. i want to share the real not the edited out perfect that doesn't exist. And so it begins. A lot to learn but I look forward to the adventure of learning a new skillset, meeting new people and the adventures and memories that will follow. Maybe I can inspire someone, solve a problem or just share the journey. I unfortunately missed the process and all the trials and tribulations during the build. The shake down trip which was a test of patience and determination as we got a late start due to a damaged cv boot and when getting to elk city our route was crossed by fire, a lost wallet and a head injury. Assess and overcome, things happen and you are prepared and you adapt. The panhandle rally, another great opportunity lost before the seed of documenting took root by suggestion. Lots to cover just to catch up and ill do my best as I get started here. In the meantime I hope all of you are well and hey, get out there.
