Trunk Chopping My Ebihara Trident Maple Bonsai to Create Taper

Today I'm doing all of my spring work to the Trident Maple pre bonsai that was featured in my "Introduction to the Ebihara Method" video last year. This is going to be part of an uncut series, where I talk through all of my decisions as I make them. In part 1, I am deciding where I want to trunk chop this tree to create taper and I'm making the chop. I'll give a few small tips and tricks to help you ensure that you make your trunk chops correctly and cleanly using only hand tools.
