Shantou, To The Old Town

Traveling from Meizhou to the coastal city of Shantou, the train journey took two hours. As mentioned previously, there was no specific reason for coming to Shantou; it was a rather random choice. I had heard about Shantou before, but I had no idea what the scenery and lifestyle here were really like. Being a coastal city, seafood is naturally a staple in the daily diet, including my favorite small yellow croaker. However, small yellow croaker is expensive, with one weighing about half a jin costing around sixty yuan, which I can't afford. Around nine o'clock in the evening, I walked into a restaurant. There were no customers inside, and the owner was brewing tea. He invited me to join him for tea. I asked him if it was worth visiting Nan'ao Island in Shantou, and he said it was mainly for seeing the sea, eating seafood, and admiring beautiful women.
