The tallest bridge on Earth just opened in China. The province that built it is drowning in debt. Guizhou has thrown more than 32,000 bridges across its mountains, including nearly half of the hundred highest bridges on the planet. The newest one hangs 625 meters over a canyon and cost about 280 million dollars. It's a real engineering marvel. It's also the crown on one of the biggest debt problems on Earth, and the families who live there are the ones quietly paying for it.
