Half Hour Handpan by a Small Forest Stream

An afternoon handpan session recorded beside a small forest brook in western Sweden during late spring, as the seasons slowly turn toward summer. Water trickling between the stones, birds in the distance, and the soft sound of rain passing through the forest became part of this uninterrupted 30-minute improvisation. Partway through the session, a spring shower moved in. I decided to keep playing and let the changing weather become part of the music. :) I love how the world falls away when playing handpan. No thinking, just nature and improvisation. Handpanorama is dedicated to ambient handpan improvisations and natural soundscapes recorded in Scandinavian nature.
