Here, I explain how the modlist works, as well as details regarding crashes and future updates! This load order was tested during livestreams, everything, stability, crashes, the works, was put to the test! So, please download only what is included in the modlist (If you decide to add a mod I haven't tested, I can't predict how it might affect your game, so let me know if you want to add something different.) We needed a solid modlist for PlayStation 5 and 4, so I decided to create the "Dark Ages Modlist." It focuses on an era of ancient creatures, dramatic fantasy tones, heavy fog and rain, and new races, monsters, locations, and armor, everything needed for a fresh dark fantasy adventure in Skyrim! LET'S TALK ABOUT CRASHES! The first thing to understand is that the game can crash at any moment. This isn't necessarily due to mod errors, but rather Bethesda's own scripts, which are outdated and unstable, consequently, crashes can occur at various times For starters, it is normal to experience occasional crashes in the Creation menu especially when running over 200 mods Always organize your load order with the console's internet connection turned off! Always play with it turned off Remember, the game crashes on PC too, so it wouldn't be any different on PS5/PS4, I’ve listed three moments where crashes often occur, causing many players to give up The road between Riverwood and Whiterun (it might crash there, though not always). The second crash point is when you face the first dragon at the Whiterun watchtower, the game may crash several times leading up to the dragon battle (specifically while preparing for the fight alongside Jenassa) Just keep trying until the crashing stops eventually, it will, and you’ll be able to complete the quest, this happens to everyone The third crash point is right at the beginning, if you choose the standard start (tied up in the cart), the game might crash during that first mission when Alduin lands That’s why we use a different way to start the game, the "Alternate Start" mod Remember to use these color/graphics settings to match the visual aesthetic I use I’ll be updating the game weekly to prevent new crashes and keep the modlist current without having to create a whole new one!
