From AI Assisted to AI Native | Joe McLean & Vihar Parikh | Productlab Conf 2026

📺 PRODUCTLAB CONFERENCE, Berlin 2026 Productlab Conference 2026 brought around 1K+ product people to Berlin and online for three days: Leaders Lab for senior product leaders on 15 Sept, hands-on AI-Craft Day workshops on 16 Sept, and Conference Day on 17 Sept across three stages at The Social Hub and CIC Berlin. The thread running through the week: AI made individuals faster, but organisations, judgment and context are where the real work is now. ✨ About the talk AI made every person on Miro's team faster, but it didn't make the team faster. Joe McLean and Vihar Parikh call this the collaboration gap, and they break it into four fractures: silos that now include humans and agents, misalignment that AI amplifies, creation that scales while decision-making doesn't, and reasoning behind agent decisions that becomes invisible. They show how Miro rewired design and prototyping around vibe coding, with one shared prototype repository on the design system, prototypes reviewed on Miro boards and a new concept review right after kickoff. They close on keeping a synced source of truth separate from disposable presentations, and on why small increments means shipping in small amounts of time, not shrinking your ambition. 🎤 About the Speakers Joe McLean is Product Director for AI Canvas at Miro. He has spent a decade at the intersection of software and creativity across design, product and engineering, and brought AI into music-creation tools at Splice from 2018. Vihar Parikh is Group Product Manager for Custom Solutions at Miro, where he also leads the core navigation experience (Home, Spaces, Custom Widgets). Over a decade he has worked on document systems, vision and OCR, big data and now AI. 🌐 More talks, slides and Productlab Conference 2027 (8-10 Sept, Berlin): https://productlab.app
