Hondo Alien Headless Bass - Weird & Wired

Here's a look at a Bass that's a little out of this world! 👽🛸 The 'Alien' was manufactured by Hondo in the 1980s and is similar in design to Steinberger instruments and 'The Duke' model by Kramer. It is a 31" shortscale Bass with a minimalistic, 'travel sized' body and most notably a headless neck. The neck also features a layer of aluminium that runs throughout, meaning there is no trussrod 🎸 The pickup configuration consists of two Jazz Bass pickups with a coil split; providing tonal variety between the single coil and humbucker sounds This is certainly a whacky little instrument and a lot of fun! Have you played or owned one of these? I'd love to hear your thoughts and feelings 😄
