10 Roblox Myths You Believed as a Kid, Explained in 11 Minutes

In October 2021 Roblox went dark for three days, and the internet blamed a burrito. Roblox players are always being told things: that Roblox made the oof sound, that free models give your computer a virus, that the whole site closes for good in March. Ten Roblox stories, each checked against the record and given a verdict: real, never real, half true, or no proof. Only two come out real. Every factual line rests on a source you can open, and where the record runs out the video says so. The hackers have a video of their own:    • Roblox's Most Feared Hackers Explained: Jo...   CHAPTERS 0:00 A burrito did it 0:25 The burrito that broke Roblox 1:34 Who made the oof 2:52 Builderman, your first friend 3:52 Roblox is shutting down 4:54 Why Tix went away 5:51 Free models have viruses 6:54 Free Robux generators 7:54 The day the music stopped 9:01 Roblox myths and myth hunters 10:06 Erik Cassel's hat 11:11 Two out of ten MAIN SOURCES The outage: Roblox's own report, https://about.roblox.com/newsroom/202... ; https://www.theverge.com/2021/10/30/2... WHAT THIS VIDEO DOES NOT CLAIM Who recorded the oof is disputed, and Roblox has never explained the 2022 licensing issue. No document shows why Tix was really removed; the video reports what Roblox's chief executive wrote. Roblox never linked the 2022 audio change to the 2021 lawsuit. "All myths are fake" is one hunting group's own rule, not a ruling on any particular account. The sandbox is how Roblox scripts are designed to be contained; Studio plugins are a separate risk this video does not cover.
