THE STORY OF MEI | An 1870s story in song

ng girl whose life would carry her halfway around the world. “The Story of Mei” follows a young girl from Formosa who is forced to leave everything she has ever known. Across a raging ocean, through San Francisco, and after seven long years of searching, her journey eventually leads her to Comfort, Texas, and to the name she never forgot. But finding the man from her past is only part of Mei’s story. This is a song about courage, survival, friendship, and finding a home in a land far from where your journey began and a mystery is teased at the end.
