WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY
Today we celebrate World Communion Sunday, joining Christians around the world at Christ’s Table. We gather in different places, speak different languages, follow different traditions, and share different kinds of bread, yet we are one body in Christ. We are guests; Christ is the host.
From the Table, we are sent to welcome, share, seek peace, and serve our neighbors. The grace we receive here is meant to bear fruit in the world.
If you are worshiping with us from home, we invite you to have some bread or crackers and juice or wine available so that you may share in Communion with us when we gather at the Table.
Wherever you are joining us from today, we are glad you are here. Welcome to worship at Friedens!
