BMW M51D25: complete engine restoration

Engine performance after restoration: 7.1 L/100 km (33.13 mpg) measured over 900 km at speeds between 120 and 13O km/h (74-81 mph). The M51D25 in combination with the ZF 5HP18 automatic transmission allows for cruising at 100 km/h (62 mph) at 1500 rpm (5th gear). The Diesel engine can barely be heard in the cabin.
