The Spring Thunderstorm - By Donovan (Epic Piano Composition by a Talented Student!)

Very proud of Donovan for not only composing this song in great detail, to capture the way birds sing and then a storm rolls in, completely with the stormy and dramatic music that is so great to hear, but also for producing the entire video and playing the acoustic recording himself. Please enjoy the wonderful video and musical by storytelling Donovan, and stay tuned for many songs to come! __________________________________________________ For online composing and piano students for all ages, contact me at pianoandpaintbrush (at) gmail (dot) com for any details or questions. __________________________________________________ I've been playing and creating music for over 27 years, and am so delighted to be running a music studio full of creative and motivated students. I specialize in teaching songwriting and music creation for students ages 6 and up, along with skills that are particularly practical in today's music industry such as music production and recording, playing by ear, and playing guitar and piano in a pop music style like you hear on the radio. I've also studied classical music with the Royal Conservatory of Music decades, placing in the top 2% in Canada for the advanced levels [Level 8 and up], and my students also consistently pass the RCM exams with First Class Honours and First Class Honours with Distinction. My teaching philosophy is to create well-rounded musicians with real skills that are relevant in today's music world, who can play by ear, improvise, read sheet music with accuracy and comfort, and most importantly, express themselves creatively through writing, playing, and sometimes even singing songs they have written themselves. Here's an overview of services I offer: Piano lessons ages 4 and up RCM lessons and exam preparation RCM theory classes and one-on-on tutoring Songwriting lessons and/or co-writing Consulting - how to get your music up to Spotify, branding, artist career ideas and planning How to create professional looking music and art videos and Youtube/Tiktok/Instagram vertical videos Music notation and how to create your own sheet music for piano or group ensembles Custom tailored artist development and goal setting If any of these sound like what you're looking for, for you or your child, see the Sign Up page for how to register or email me directly at pianoandpaintbrush@gmail.com Have a wonderful and musical day!
