Sometimes, we think God only wants to hear from us when something serious is happening, but He actually wants us to talk to Him about everything. He loves to hear us. He cares about the details. He wants to be involved in our everyday lives, even in the things we might consider too small or insignificant. This is a reminder that our relationship with the Holy Spirit is not reserved for church, prayer meetings, or major life decisions. He wants to walk with us through every part of our lives.
