Time Parade on Charlotte Indie Rock, “Runaway” & What’s Next | Behind The Curtain

In this episode of Behind The Curtain, Greazy Keyz gets into the music and story of Charlotte indie rock band Time Parade. Founded by Chris Lonon as The Olde Guard, the project grew into a six-piece after the 2023 LP At the Lighthouse and re-emerged as Time Parade. Their April 2026 EP, Those Who Do Not Jump Will Never Fly, leans into guitar-driven rock while exploring anxiety, resolve, and quiet strength in uneasy times. The band talks about its upcoming Friday, October 30 show at Petra’s with The Kindest People and Elctrodomesticos (members of True Optimist), plus a new full-length LP in the works for spring 2027. The episode closes with a stripped-down performance of “Runaway.” More from Time Parade: https://linktr.ee/timeparade
