Following the Star | Watercolor Wisemen Tutorial | 12 Days of Christmas Cards (Day 1)

Welcome to A Watercolor Journey Through Christmas! 🎄📖 I'm so glad you're here. Grab your paints, get cozy, and let's spend a little time creating together. This year’s 12 Days of Christmas Cards series is a little different. Instead of simply painting 12 separate Christmas cards, we're going to take a watercolor journey through Christmas—moving through four different settings and turning the pages of a cozy Christmas story together. 📖 THE JOURNEY Chapter One | Bethlehem Following the Star • Little Town of Bethlehem • A Savior is Born Chapter Two | The North Pole Welcome to the North Pole • Merry Little Helper • Christmas Eve Flight Chapter Three | Christmas in the Country The Red Barn • Merry Meadow • First Snow Chapter Four | Home for the Holidays Welcome Home • Santa's Visit • Christmas Morning Each painting brings us a little further along the journey, and by the end, we'll have made our way all the way home for Christmas. • DAY 1 | FOLLOWING THE STAR Chapter One | Bethlehem Welcome to the very first page of A Watercolor Journey Through Christmas. 🎄📖 Our journey begins beneath a quiet Christmas sky, with three wisemen on their way to Bethlehem. Today we're painting Following the Star, the first card in our 12-day journey. There's something so peaceful about this beginning—the anticipation, the quietness of the night, and the hope of knowing where the star is leading us. This series is designed to be approachable even if you're newer to watercolor. You don't have to paint perfectly or have everything figured out. We'll use familiar watercolor techniques throughout the series, practicing them in different ways as our story unfolds. And today, we're turning the very first page. 📖 CONTINUE THE JOURNEY — COMPANION GUIDE Keep my A Watercolor Journey Through Christmas companion guide beside you as you paint through all 12 designs.
