For months I've been tearing apart the electronics underneath the Riverside Transfer Short Line. Now it's time to do something a little more... structural. The railroad has spent years sitting on folding tables. They got the job done, but they've always been a temporary solution. Tonight, I'm painting and assembling the steel legs that will support the next chapter of the layout. Will I actually get them installed tonight? Probably not. Will I somehow turn "painting legs" into a two-hour livestream? Almost certainly. Along the way we'll talk about what's next for the layout, the upcoming command station upgrade, the never-ending wiring project, and whatever other rabbit trails we find.
