VW Golf MK7 LED ambient illumination DIY

For some reason VW prepared the roof light for ambient illumination but never installed it. There a place for LED but no actual light source and the hole is blanked with a piece of foam. #Ambient LED will illuminate the center console. Light should be very dim and barely visible. 🛠 I've disassembled the curtesy roof light, drilled small hole to guide the cable, added white #LED, soldered it to term58 (dashboard illumination), and added 7.5kOhm resistor to dim the new light.
