Katia for RUIDO SOUND Originally from Bogotá and based in Madrid, Katia has established herself over the past few years as a solid presence within the city's underground scene, building her name through discernment, consistency, and authenticity. Her journey has taken her behind the decks from Bogotá to Madrid, and on to new cities since then, sharpening an ear that favors coherence and attentive listening over instant gratification. Over the past year, vinyl has become a central pillar of her practice. She favors minimalism: for Katia, a set should unfold with calm, where every transition is intentional and never reaches for the obvious, always carrying a serious, elegant presence behind the decks.
