Walk 8 from the Wild Swimming Wales book. Llyn y Fan Fawr, a remote glacial lake tucked beneath Fan Brycheiniog in the Carmarthen Fans, part of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). Absolutely freezing, but a proper wild swim in one of the most remote spots in the whole national park. Definitely one to come back to in summer when I might actually stay in longer than thirty seconds.
