To the person who said this was a 2009, you must've been talking about the build year. Transmission is an Allison 2500PTS and this thing did get an LED conversion at some point in its life. Strange how it has the 2008-2009 gauge cluster rather than the 2010-2024 cluster. Engine is obviously a 7.6L MAXXFORCE DT (single turbo variant) with 202,578 miles. Green Local Schools is based out of Summit County in northeastern Ohio and this was their old bus 38. The Leave No Student Behind (IC’s response to systems like Child Check Mate and Doran Check for Sleeping Children, both of which nowadays is standard equipment on most Blue Bird and Thomas buses and CCM is famously used by First Student, LNSB has been standard equipment on all CEs since 2005) system on this is disarmed by lifting and then lowering the latch once on the rear emergency door after twisting the ignition key ALL the way to your left (accessory mode). Either you have to cycle the emergency door latch or press a button mounted towards the back. This bus had only about 15 PSI of air pressure, so I had to high idle this beast of a 7.6L diesel to get it up to 100 PSI as this is an all air unit (brakes, driver seat, stop arm). Before this, I got a 302k mile 2008 Thomas Saf-T-Liner C2 with a Mercedes-Benz 7.2L MBE926 and Allison AD2500 running (ran flawlessly, too!), but I just about got attacked by an angry Mahogany wasp trying to high idle it and it was because of said Mahogany wasp I couldn’t get the VIN for that C2. Trust me, I had fun with this bus. 190 (formerly Miller Transportation of Indianapolis, IN) was a 2011 CE-200 with a dead battery. Either way, it had the dreaded 6.4L MAXXFORCE 7. Mileage on 190 was 167k. This CE has been sold and is staying locally in East Central Ohio as a church bus. Summit County is covered by the National Weather Service in Cleveland [KCLE[), about 1 hour from Mike & B, which is in Tuscarawas County in East Central Ohio (covered by the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh [KPBZ[). VIN: 4DRBUAANXAB204562 DATE OF MANUFACTURE: April 7, 2009 FINAL ASSEMBLY POINT: Tulsa, OK Taken April 17, 2025
