According to our Newari tradition, the festival of Navaratri begins with Ghatasthapana and the sowing of jamara (barley shoots). This is followed by the Phulpati ritual. On *Maha Navami*, it is customary to worship deities, weapons, and vehicles, and to partake in *Samaybaji*—also known as *Kuchhi Bhway*—a traditional feast. On *Vijaya Dashami*, after the ritual immersion (*visarjan*) of the Goddess, Dashain is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm, as people receive *tika*, *jamara*, and blessings. 🙏🌺🎉 Wherever I travel, I edit videos myself and upload those memories to YouTube.
