A day of sightseeing in the desert

In this episode we take you to Meteor Crater, Petrified Forest and The Painted Desert. In all three places we had heavy winds, around 30 mph. The Crater's guided tours were cancelled that day and limited areas were open, for everyones safety. The Crater has a visitors center, we bought a geode and broke it open, it was beautiful. At the Petrified National Forest we walked the trail which was approximately 1.5 miles. there was a family who had a dog, the dog pooped and the family left it on the trail. Dont be a D, clean up your dogs poop. We drove through the Forest, stopped at lookout points and hiked some spots. It was AMAZING, the petrified trees were amazing. Finally we made it to the Painted Desert, WOW is all we can say. It was beautiful. This short leg of our trip was well worth it. We cannot wait to go back and spend more time in the area.
