Jerry Garcia's main guitar solo on "Tennessee Jed" from 10/19/72. "Tennessee Jed" was first performed by the Grateful Dead in October 19, 1971. It was then played during every year, except 1975, through to 1995. In total the Grateful Dead performed the song well over 400 times. Jerry always employed a lot of bends during his "Tennessee Jed" solos, but these early 70s version are truly a bending workout.
