Turned back by storms and warships | Ep179

Sailing coastal exploration rarely goes exactly to plan. We get knocked back by some surprising late summer storms and then by some warships performing a live fire exercise blocking the route around Southern Italy. This time last year we were battling storms on our West- East Atlantic crossing but coastal sailing can be just as challenging and it takes all our energy to push on to get around Italy and give ourselves a chance of crossing the Adriatic in time to make our flight from Montenegro to Annapolis for the boat show.
