2026 Anglesey Offshore Dinghy Race

Jump onboard to experience the new format Anglesey Offshore Dinghy Race. Starting and finishing offshore from the beach where the Red Wharf Bay Sailing & Watersports Club is based is a great update to a long standing event. The offshore dinghy race still has all the appeal it always had but no longer requires the logistics to start and finish at different points on the island. 2026 offered a great offshore breeze giving a deceptive sail out to the start line. The course then took us upwind to a channel marker at Benllech Beach before bearing off, releasing all sails and hanging on as the breeze increased and the sea state built for what was one of the best downwind blasts of the season. #dinghylife #sailinglife #sailinglifestyle
